A single ideal coastal day, planned the way we would plan our own
The hour-by-hour outline of a resort day we would draft for ourselves on a Tuesday in late June. Adapt as you wish.
07:00 · Quiet swim
The pool stands empty and towel service has yet to begin. A coffee cart by the entrance offers single-origin filter coffee, no menu and no line. This half hour is the finest of the day.
08:30 · Terrace breakfast
Eggs made to order, pastries straight from the kitchen oven, a modest plate of seasonal fruit. We do not favour breakfast buffets. We favour plates brought by waiters who have looked after the same families for ten years.
10:00 · Spa or sea
Either choice works. The spa hammam stays bright and still in the morning. The sea is calmest before midday. Most guests pick one and wish they had done both; the uncommon guest manages both.
13:30 · Long lunch
Three hours at the lagoon bistro, with a bottle of light white and a plate of grilled fish you had not planned to order. No phones, no hurry. This is the meal that stays with you.
18:00 · Golden hour terrace
Aperitif on the upper deck. By the second day the bar staff will know your name. The house negroni rests on a vermouth we produce on-site; it remains the most unexpected drink on the property.
21:00 · Tasting menu
Eight courses, two hours, one wine pairing. Years went into shaping this evening. We hope the journey feels justified.
23:30 · A short hour at the table
Or an unhurried walk back to the suite. Either path: tomorrow opens at 07:00 with a swim, and the rhythm is the whole idea.
